RANGE OF SERVICES IN ASSET MANAGEMENT
Dorman Long Engineering Limited is your comprehensive solution for asset support services across upstream Oil & Gas facilities in the Gulf of Guinea. We manage every stage of the asset lifecycle, from commissioning and operations to decommissioning. Our track record includes successfully completing the Bonga FPSO shutdown maintenance for the fifth time—often ahead of schedule and with ZERO Lost Time Incidents (LTI). Trust us to deliver exceptional service with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability.
The FPSO suffers a more onerous fatigue spectrum. For this reason, a fatigue enhancement test is performed to ensure integrity of the FPSO. Dorman Long provides the requisite manpower including expatriates, equipment and tool supply and capability for local procurement.
FPSO are subject to defects and structural failure. In order for operators of the FPSO to resolve these, they deploy a Corrective Maintenance Work Order. Dorman Long has the capacity to perform inspection, repair and maintenance on FPSO equipment including water ballast tank frames, caisson damage due to wrong material selection, break – down of coating systems, deck structures, pallets and walkways.
All electrical works, helideck structural works, insulation, rig maintenance, blasting, confined space entry and top side structures require active service of a qualified rope access personnel certified by the Industrial Rope Access Trade Association (IRATA). Dorman Long adheres to the international code of practice from IRATA for all rope access activities and we operate our projects under certified procedures.
